Floating Aquatic Plants

My aquarium plants have been growing very well (too well in fact! lol!) and have to keep their number/size under control and hence the sale. These floating plants are great for creating a shaded area for shrimps and fish, they also help to absorb ammonia/nitrite and hence keep water healthy for fish and shrimps. My Tiger and Cherry shrimps just love to pick on debris trapped on their roots!

For sale are 2 types of floating aquatic plants suitable for a tropical aquarium with moderate to high light intensity:

1. Salvinia (Salvania natans)
2. Amazon Frogbit (Limnobium laevigatum)

See my tank setup here and more photos here with very healthy fish and shrimps (all disease-free!!) and I do not add any medications to my tank but I do dose plant fertilizers (mostly from Seachem). It is advisable to rinse and inspect for snails before putting them into your aquarium. Below are examples of the three floating plants grown in my aquarium:
